 The Dating Plan by Sara Desai 

I think I really needed this book.  Something sweet, hilarious, steamy, and romantic. The Dating Plan is a story we've all read before but it always surprises me when authors are able to make it feel new and fresh. And Desai does this so well, especially with the dialogue that she writes within the novel. Desai also writes those steamy scenes in just the right way that makes you almost wipe the drool from your mouth! This book was really fun to read between the Marvel references (I'm a huge fan!) and the slow burn of love for our main romantic interest of Liam. 

This is a story about a fake engagement with two people who use to be close but after a skipped prom, Daisy could not hate Liam more, but somehow they both agree that this arrangement could benefit them both. Daisy being the complete type A person plans several dates to make this fake arrangement more believable, and of course, nothing could go wrong with two attractive people fake dating right? 

This story is about a lot of things, it's about a fake relationship. but most of all it's about grief and healing. it's about the way parents can leave permanent scars on their children and how to let people in even if it's scary or risky. Lastly, it's about knowing your self-worth and not letting other people determine what that is. It's a RomCom that holds an amazing punch! You won't regret picking this one up. Now I'm going to go pick up Desai's other book, Marriage Game to find a little more about Daisy's cousin, Layla!
